Objectives

1. To develop the literacy skills of people who see reading, writing and spelling in a different way and increase their level of confidence, self-esteem and motivation
2. On completing the TTRS module, candidates will be able to hear the words pronounced as they are spelt
3. Student and computer are interactive allowing for immediate self correction of errors and feedback of results
4. The structured TTRS course is finely graded in modules and levels progressing from words to sentences
5. With each successful module completed the student is encouraged to progress further
6. Students develop their own learning speed, therefore there are no peer group pressures
7. TTRS gives focus and support for a positive learning experience
